If you
haven't already checked it out, you should visit AntennaWeb.org.
Not only will their website list off air
HDTV
broadcast channels that are transmitting high definition TV
signals in your local area by
entering just your zip code, you'll also be able to see compass directions and approximate
HD transmission tower distances from your television location.
This
information will help you find the best HDTV antenna for your
particular situation, i.e. a smaller, directional indoor HD
antenna, a larger multi-directional outdoor HD antenna, etc.
You'll need to connect the TV antenna to the back of an HDTV television with a built-in ATSC
tuner, or an HDTV-ready TV with a separate over
the air HDTV receiver before being able to view any free local off air HDTV broadcast
channels.
Best Indoor HDTV
Antenna? According to
the HDTV antenna reviews
we've read at Amazon.com, two good choices for small,
directional
indoor HDTV antennas are the amplified
Samsung
HDTV antenna (above left) and the non-powered
Zenith
HDTV antenna (above right).
