Existing DIRECTV
satellite customers
If you don't already have it, you'll need the multi-satellite
oval dish pictured at the top right of this page in order to
receive DIRECT HDTV programming.
You'll also need either the
DIRECTV H10 HD receiver
(shown right) -- or the
DIRECTV HR10-250 HD DVR receiver with TiVo (below right)
if you want to record HD programs. Obviously, you'll also
need to
call DIRECTV customer service at 1-800-DIRECTV to add your DIRECTV
HD programming package. You'll probably also want to connect
an HDTV antenna to view any off air HDTV broadcast
channels that may be available in your local area.
